          Steel

We use Reynolds 725 and Columbus Spirit. These higher quality grades of steel allows us to use less of it, so you get a lighter, more responsive frame.

          E.D Coating

Our steel frames are E.D. coated to act as a rust preventative and a primer. This high-performance rust inhibitor is applied inside the frame and out.

          design

Wabi frames are road-designed with upright angles, and short wheelbases, which creates comfort, efficiency, and predictable handling. Our road frame design gives you an agile and fast ride.

          Details

We love the detail of our frames. You'll find cast-brazed dropouts, machined head tubes, brazed seatpost collars, bottle cage eyelets, and brazed forks.

Lightning strikes twice with the Thunder!

Last year my husband and i bought a brace of matching classics. We have loved riding these bikes! This year we decided to stretch our game with a pair of Thunders with 40 wide tires! We rode them along a washed out road along the mighty Elwha River valley and was that a blast! These bikes are so special in their simplicity, quality and lightweight strength. The WABI team is always a pleasure to work with. I do not see another product with more to offer and customization anywhere close to this price point. Great job again, and thank you! Patty

Review from a SS+Coaster Brake Cyclist

It has been a blast these few weeks cycling on my Way Thunder. It took quite sometimes to go back to hand braking. The bike is super light (the size is 55), and the 32 wheel makes the ride super smooth (used to ride on 25). The wheel build is really good too. However I am still not sure yet whether it worth the 1600 Sing dollars that I spent to have it shipped to SG. Will definitely keep on enjoying this bike.

My second Wabi, as good as the first

As soon as I got my new Thunder I swapped in some old Wabi wheels with 28 mm tires and some fenders and shipped it out for a trip. Love the full complement of mounting lugs. Handling is similar to my Wabi Special. Love it.
