Frame Warranty
All Wabi Cycles framesets are warrantied for 5 years from the date of purchase to the original owner against defects in materials or workmanship.

The warranty is non-transferable and applicable only to the original purchaser. The warranty does not cover problems due to improper assembly, misuse or lack of maintenance.

The warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by rust. If properly maintained, Wabi frames should not have significant rusting issues (Note: small amounts of harmless surface rust in some areas, like the interior seat tube, is normal). However, Wabi does not guarantee or warranty against rust. Please be sure to take proper care of your frame against rusting.

Parts and Accessories Warranty
All Wabi parts and accessories are warrantied to the original owner against defects in materials or workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty includes:

      • Drivetrains, including cogs, chain rings, and crank sets
      • Wheels, hubs, spokes
      • Stems
      • Saddles
      • Seat posts
      • Handlebars
      • Pedals
      • Brakes

The warranty is non-transferable and applicable only to the original purchaser. The warranty does not cover problems due to misuse or lack of maintenance.

Non-Wabi parts and accessories fall under the manufacturer's warranty. Please review before purchase.

NOTE ON WHEELS: Your Wabi wheelsets should remain true as expected of a comparable wheelset depending on your riding conditions. However, Wabi cannot warranty wheel trueness given the variable conditions of riding and riding styles. If you believe your wheels are having truing problems due to a mechanical issue, please contact us. 

Some components are considered "wear items" and are not warrantied against normal wear and tear. These items are warrantied against defects in materials or workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. These items include:

      • Tires
      • Tubes
      • Bar tape
      • Chains
      • Grips
      • Brake pads
      • Paint

Warranty Claim Process

Please contact us at support@wabicycles.com with your warranty claim. Include your original order name and order number as well as the details of the issues. Please include photos and/or videos if possible.

In many cases, we will require the item to be shipped us for inspection. In those cases, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost to Wabi and it is not reimbursable.

If an item is replaced under warranty, Wabi will cover the shipping cost of the replaced item within the continental US. For international claims or non-continental US, we will only cover shipping costs up to $25 and the rest will need to be paid for by the customer (via invoice).

 

We are unable to offer credit for disassembly or re-assembly at external bike shops. If you'd like us to take care of that for a warranty repair, you'll need to cover the shipping to get the whole bike to us (and back to you) and we will cover the labor at our cost.
