IMPORTANT: Free shipping over $100 applies to Continental US Only (lower 48 states) and excludes oversized items such as wheels, framesets and complete bikes. Learn more below.

CONTINENTAL US (LOWER 48 STATES)

Component orders under $100 (excluding wheelsets, frames, and complete builds)

We offer our Standard Shipping service at a fee depending on the size and weight of the items as the option. Standard shipping mainly utilizes FedEx or UPS, depending on the order. Sometimes, we will use USPS Priority, but we prefer FedEx and UPS. Shipping transit times will be between 1 and 4 days, depending on your distance from our HQ in Colorado.

Component orders at $100 or more (excluding wheelsets, frames, and complete builds)

We offer FREE Shipping using our Standard Shipping service option. Standard shipping mainly utilizes FedEx or UPS, depending on the order. Sometimes, we will use USPS Priority, but we prefer FedEx and UPS. Shipping transit times will be between 1 and 4 days, depending on your distance from our HQ in Colorado.

A signature will be required for component orders over $500. See details on the signature required below.

Shipping for Wheelsets, Frames, and Complete Builds

All oversized items (wheels, frames and bikes) will be shipped via UPS Ground with signature required.

Components with wheel, frame, or build orders will typically be shipped with the wheelset, frameset, or bike box or, if needed, shipped separately with our Standard Shipping service. 

Purchases with combinations of wheelsets, frames or complete builds will have the sum of the oversized shipping prices. Wheelsets, frames and bikes can’t be combined into boxes.

ALASKA/HAWAII/APOS

All orders will be offered USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Home Delivery or UPS Ground. as options. Rates will be provided at checkout. When multiple items are in an order, the option will be Consolidated Shipping (multiple items), which will be a mix of USPS, Fedex or UPS depending on the items.


Note that when ordering multiple components or ordering components with ordering wheels, frames and bikes, shipping costs may be higher than expected. Please contact us to inquire about bundling options to reduce the costs.

CANADA

IMPORTANT: We offer USPS, UOPS Ground, and FedEx Air shipping options for all Canadian orders (except complete builds, which are not offered with USPS). FedEx Ground will incur broker clearance fees above and beyond duties and taxes, so be aware when choosing options. See below for clearance fees.

Review of options

USPS/GlobalPost - This is the cheapest cost option but the slowest. There are no clearance fees.

UPS Ground - This is the middle-cost option. Fast, but brokerage clearance fees depend on the value of the shipment. Below are the costs as of November 2024.

FedEx Air - This is the most expensive and fastest option. There are no brokerage clearance fees. This may be a better choice than FedEx Ground when you account for the clearance fees above.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Orders will typically be offered with USPS/Global Post, FedEx International and UPS Expedited as the shipping option. 

IMPORTANT: For orders with multiple items in the cart, our system will consolidate items to try to provide the best possible rate. However, there are limitations. If you believe the rates are too high, please contact us so we can verify the proper rate.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON DUTIES AND TAXES: Note that pricing does not include duties or local taxes that your country may be due. The customer will pay those directly to your local government or through the shipping carrier. Contact your local government for potential duties and taxes. See our FAQ HERE for some guidance.

OTHER SHIPPING POLICIES

Notice on accuracy

Wabi Cycles reserves the right to revisit shipping costs with customers if our system incorrectly tabulates costs. In those rare cases, we will offer an updated shipping cost or option to cancel the order.

Duties and Foreign Taxes

Customers outside of the US will be liable for any duties, customer or taxes as well as any brokerage fees required by the carrier upon or after delivery. Wabi does not include these costs in the order or cover any of the costs after the fact. To determine these costs, please contact your country's trade office.

Handling Time

Handling times will vary for orders and we try to communicate those times either on our status page, product page or order confirmation emails. However, Wabi Cycles makes no guarantees on handling times. If your order is urgent, please contact us before you purchase to ensure we can deliver the order in the time desired. In addition, Wabi Cycles will not expedite delivery service (i.e. overnight service) if an order is delayed longer than expected.

Shipping Transit Time

Wabi Cycles makes no guarantees on how long it takes for a product to arrive at the delivery address once it has shipped. This is due to carrier issues that are out of our control. If you want to increase the likelihood of a shorter transit time, you can contact us about priority or expedited shipping options.

Shipping Tracking

When the product ships, the customer will receive a tracking number. Please use the carrier's tracking service to get updates on the shipping progress. 

Signature Required Service

Please note that we will always use FedEx for any package that requires a signature.  Please plan accordingly for a signature. FedEx will typically make three attempts to deliver. If you cannot sign for a package, you can use a FedEx service to redirect the package to a FedEx pickup location. However, you can’t waive the signature with this service. Deliver Address / Changing Delivery Address

Please ensure that your delivery address is correct when you place your order. We cannot guarantee that we can change an address after submitting the order.

If you need to change an address before a product has shipped, please contact us at support@wabicycles.com, and we will see if we can change the address. 

Once an order has shipped, we cannot change the address. The customer will need to contact the carrier to find out what options are available. 

Delayed Delivery

If a shipment is delayed or pending, please look at the history of the shipment status. In most cases, the delay will be short. If the order has a significant delay or has yet to progress within several days, please contact us at support@wabicycles.com, and we can try to help resolve the issue.

Lost Packages

If a shipment is shown as delivered but the customer has not received it, the customer will need to contact the carrier to try to locate the package. Our experience shows that it is much more effective for the customer to work with the carrier than Wabi Cycles, given their familiarity with the delivery location. In most cases, packages are found/recovered within a day or two.

If a shipment is shown as delivered and not found, Wabi Cycles is not liable for the loss as it was delivered to the appropriate address. To reduce this risk, you can sign up for signature service to be safe.

Lost shipments will not be refunded or replaced until the carrier has responded to and settled any loss claim. 

Returned / Redelivery of Packages

If a package is returned to Wabi Cycles due to failed delivery due to an incorrect address or the customer not being able to accept the delivery, the customer will need to pay for redelivery, or the cost of delivery will need to be deducted from any refund. If the failed delivery was due to an issue with the carrier, we will work with the customer and the carrier to resolve the issue.

Damages During Shipping

If a product, especially a frameset or bicycle, is damaged during shipping, please notify Wabi Cycles immediately. We inspect our products before they are shipped to ensure there is no damage before shipping. While we go to extraordinary efforts to protect products during shipping, there is always a chance of damage during shipping due to carrier mishandling or other issues.

In most cases, we will file a claim with the carrier. If that is the case, we will need the customer to provide details of the damage and photographic evidence of the damages - including the product, interior packaging, and exterior packaging. 

Sometimes, we will offer a discount (if the customer keeps the product) or a replacement part (vs. the entire product) along with a service credit. We will not provide a full refund due to shipping damage.
