If you only ride a set constant speed, then wheel weight isn't much concern. However, in the real world, there is always a change in pace - terrain, wind, traffic or the random urge to just "go".
Reducing rotating weight greatly increases the responsiveness of your bike and are just all around more fun to ride - when you press on the pedal, the bike "jumps" forward with an eager liveliness that is addicting.
This wheelset features double wall, aero profile 7301 A Rim. With a combined weight of 1475g these hand built wheels have final tensioning, lateral and vertical truing and pre-stressing, done here at Wabi Cycles in Colorado. Wheels include rim strips, and a lock ring for a fixed cog. The rear hub is a flip-flop design, fixed threading on both sides allows the use of fixed or freewheel on either or both sides of the hub.

Feels like I have a new bike
These wheels changed the way my bike feels. They accelerate very quickly and make my bike more fun to ride. They also help a ton in hills. Can’t think of any way they could be better.

Well worth your money!
I’ve been waiting to write my review on these sub 15 wheels for quite some time...I bought these wheels in October of 2015 for my kilo tt and have put well over 5000 commuter/training miles on them in NYC. These wheels are so light when I tried my friends $2000 zipp carbon set on his specialized langster, I didn’t like how heavy they felt. The front wheel has stayed true since the day I got it, I’m pretty nimble and avoid most potholes when riding. The rear has been re-trued twice since ownership, it takes a bit more of a beating with the way I ride but overall still hold up for my 15 mile brakeless commute. The rear now does have a slight 3-4mm wobble from side to side by eye when looking down the bike, but I feel no wobbling while riding. Guess I will be buying a rear wheel soon. Only $210? Okay take my money!
Great wheelset! Came true out of the box, and have stayed true after over 250 miles of hard use! Some of the streets in my area (like Sorrento Valley Rd. in San Diego) are not good to say the least, but these wheels are holding up without a problem. I had to bump up from a 48T to a 50T chainring because they're so light! And I love the way they mount with an Allen key. Heard great things about Wabi and my experience here makes me think they truly are the real deal! When I'm in the market for a steel frame, they'll be the first place I look.
