DESCRIPTION
Our stock crank arms provide great bang-for-the-buck in a beautiful, minimalist aesthetic. Manufactured by Andel, these square taper cold-forged alloy crank arms have a slender, yet stiff profile in a track-ready 144BCD spider arm. Both silver and black are in a gloss finish with no visible logos.
For bottom brackets, you can use a JIS square taper in a 107mm or 110mm spindle length and get the same 42mm chainline. Both of them have the same drive-side spindle length with variation on the non-drive side only (by +/- 2mm in length from the drive side). It is just one of those quirks in the cycling industry.
NOTE: We have found that the crankarms can have a very tight fit with certain non-Wabi/non-Andel chainrings. In some cases, with Sugino, the chainrings need to be tapped in place, or it may require a slight filing of the crankarm where the chainring sits.
