The Wabi Thunder is a versatile frameset for urban or gravel adventures. With cantilever brakes and room for wide tires, this bike will take you wherever you want to go.

The new colors are Obsidian Black, a glossy black, and Glass Gray, a medium warm gray with a hint of green. Custom colors are also available (see HERE for more info).
This updated frame now has removable cantilever brake posts. This provides a cleaner look when running brakeless/front brake only and allows post replacement, if necessary, down the line.
Note that we do not offer this frame in either 42cm or 60cm. We will bring back the 60cm in 2024.
Description
Frame: Hand-built using heat treated, double butted oversized Reynolds 725 steel main tubes with thin walled chromoly stays and forged horizontal rear drops. Complete set of braze-ons for racks and cages.
Fork: Hand brazed tapered chromoly steel with investment cast crown, 1 1/8" steerer and forged fork ends. Tange Seiki Technoglide headset with sealed cartridge type bearings.

Note: Rear brake bridge is part of the frame for cantilever brakes. Front brake hanger must be purchased separately for front cantilever brakes.

COMPONENT SIZING
Note that our frames are designed around a 170mm crank arm length, a 24mm setback seatpost and varying stem lengths (based on frame size and height). You can find our stem length recommendations under the 'DETERMINING BIKE COMPONENTS FIT' section on the sizing page. If you choose different components, it may impact the fit.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON COMPATIBILITY
We cannot guarantee the fit of any specific components - especially cranksets -other than the ones we sell with our complete bikes. If you are planning a specific build please contact us to see if we are aware of any issues. Even so, we will be unable to offer refunds based on lack of fit with any third-party components.
