Description
The Wabi CX/Urban is a 700C single-speed/fixed gear wheelset that is lightweight yet heavy-duty wheelset - enough for touring, cargo commuting, or CX/tracklocross. Coming in at only 1940 grams, this single-speed/fixed gear wheelset features a more classic design with a black gloss box-section rim with eyelets, silver machined braking surface, and our low flange hub. The wider rim can accommodate up to 44mm wide tires. Lastly, our specially-designed fixed/fixed hubs, with a little more depth than standard fixed hubs, are designed to accept freewheels more easily for single speed riding.

- Bolt-on hollow axle design that is also quick-release compatible.
- 14g straight gauge stainless spokes with silver brass nipples.
- 32H 3x cross-laced spokes on the front and rear
- 100mm front, 120mm rear axle width.
- 18.5mm internal rim width.
- Recommended tire widths: 28mm to 45mm.
- Hand finished pre-stressing and truing.
- Includes rim tape, one lockring, and fixed cog spacer.
Notes
IMPORTANT: These wheels require rear dropouts that are at least 5mm thick. You'll need a chain tensioner to ensure the proper clamp if they are less than 5mm (or just at 5mm). See our installation page for more info.
Due to the varying thickness of fixed cogs, we recommend using the provided fixed cog spacer when installing a fixed cog to ensure a tight fit between the cog and the lockring. If you need a second spacer, let us know.
These wheels are only for 120mm rear dropout widths (OLD) and can't be used or adapted for wider dropout widths like 126mm.
These wheels are not tubeless compatible. Conversion kits are available for any non-tubless rim, but the results are hit or miss, especially with narrower rims.
