Description
These are our limited edition Chrome Lug Specials - conceived by our partner, Zach Gallardo. Our goal was to create a unique frameset - even to vintage frames - by featuring chrome lugs throughout: at the head tube, crown fork, seat collar and bottom bracket. Plus, they have chrome dropouts at the fork and rear. We felt it really accentuated the geometry of the frame and the two paint schemes.
Now, chrome lug framesets are very rare these days and are only made by top tier makers for typically over $3,500. We wanted to keep the price of the frames within reason so we've taken a few steps to deliver a frame under $1,000. To start, we are utilizing what we call a 'Select' grade of chroming throughout. This chroming may have slight imperfections here and there, but we feel it is ample quality for a fixed gear/single speed frame like ours (without breaking the bank for "show quality" grade on a $4,000 frame). We also utilized our current frame construction (vs. trying to redesign it specifically for chroming) so there are a few places where the chroming may be more a little matte than polished, such as the brazing at the seat collar and some of the tight spaces within the lugs. We felt these were minor issues/easy trade-offs and we think you'll agree.
The colors are Ube Purple, a medium solid purple with a hint of periwinkle, and Emerald Black, a pearlized black with a hint of gray/green. There are limited quantities of each frame and it is first come, first serve. If you want a build, you can purchase a frameset and contact us after the fact. We are starting builds at an extra $500 plus any additional shipping cost for the build.

Special Frameset Overview
Our lugged frame features a timeless aesthetic that can go more retro or modern depending on how you design it.
The frame is hand-built using seamless heat treated, double butted Reynolds 725 chromoly steel main tubes with forged track style rear drops. There are braze-ons for two bottle cages on the down tube and seat tube. It also features beautiful hand brazed lugged construction.
The fork features hand brazed tapered chromoly steel with investment cast crown, 1 1/8" steerer and forged fork ends. It includes a Tange Seiki Technoglide headset with cartridge type bearings.
